Born in Râmnicul-Vâlcea, Romania. Graduate of Faculty of Dentistry, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Clinical internship. Worked as dental surgeon in Romania. Consultant since 1980. PhD having as subject Marginal Cronic Periodontitis, unfinished. Articles published in Romanian and foreign dentistry magazines. After moving to Sweden in 1987, worked as a dental surgeon until 2003, after passing the Swedish language exam called Rikstest, an equivalent of IELTS Cambridge and, afterwards, a specialty test as well. Competence in prosthetic implantology since 1996. November 2003 moved to England, Norwich, where continued to work as a dental surgeon after passing the IELTS Cambridge. In 1993 attended a course “Introduction in General Linguistics” at Lund University, Sweden. The interest in foreign languages, compared etymology, origin of names was always for him a “violon d’Ingres”. He made occasional verses at birthdays celebrations, New Year Eve all his life, both in Romanian and Swedish, but didn’t consider that they deserve to be published. In 2007, a book was published by the publishing house "Curtea Veche" Bucharest, “The Amazing Adventures of Hoppity-Hop, the Rabbit”, turning in verse old stories he had told to his children, this time addressed to his grandchildren. In 2008, "The Adventures of Mississippi, the Cat in Africa", Niculescu publishing house, Bucharest, brings out his second children book, also in verse, Interests: literature, languages, gardening.
